Setting Goals – Summer 2018

I am setting goals.

Why after a year I am attempting to do get this blog moving again?

Because it has always been a part of me. Nearly all my life I have been inclined to have a blog of some way from Live Journal to the new modern world of blogs as a way of life. My journals on LiveJournal were littered with depressing statements about my reality. Which, at times, is dark – at least within my head. So, it is time for me to set goals and keep them.

First goal, a monthly blog post on this page. Presently, this will be a lifestyle blog. I presently feel I do not have the ability to focus my taste on one subject – such as pagan or crafting passions. Both may appear. My present goal is to give an insight into my life and maybe help others on their own. I struggle heavily with depression and anxiety. Sometimes even just sitting in a chair watching TV I can find heart fluttering with stress over nearly nothing. Maybe if I talk about living my life while still dealing with these darknesses I can show to others it’s possible to not let it win.

Second goal, A Patreon. I did it! After a year of pretending things would just magically do it themselves I did it. I stepped out of my shadows and fears and created a patreon and started to place it out onto my social media. If anything I say here helps you, or you just want to help my journey, take a moment to become a patreon. Click Here!

Third goal, Publish a Book! Self-publish that is. This week I am setting up a cover, and working on a title to a short novel I finished back in August. Next week’s goal is to finish editing and work on formatting. I am both excited an anxious. This will be my first step in getting over a massive block in my life – fear of publishing and putting my work out there.

Fourth goal, A Pagan Class. Set up and design a pagan class based on the use of tools. I need to learn to embrace the use of them in my life as a pagan. I love the history and folklore behind some tools – like the broom – so it makes sense to turn it into something I can teach.

Four Goals, One done. 3 more to go. Wish me luck!
